Dana Strand Beach:

The local beach directly below the condo is bordered by the Dana Point Headlands to the South and the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel (one of the ten best hotels in the world) to the North. The Ritz side of the beach boasts the popular "Gravels" surf site at "Salt Creek", Monarch Links Golf Course and beautiful Salt Creek park which has trails, great views, public BBQ's rest room facilities and a snack bar.  

Salt Creek Beach Park:

The long, sandy beach is a popular surfing spot. The grassy seven-acre Bluff Park has benches, barbecue grills, picnic tables, and wheelchair-accessible restrooms. The path, which skirts the southern perimeter of the grounds, has numerous benches and overlooks providing views of gray whale migration routes, Catalina Island, and the coastline.

A path joins a paved multi-use trail leading north along the shoreline past Bluff Park. Several stairways and paths lead from the multi-use trail to the beach, changing rooms, outdoor showers, restrooms, a snack bar, firepits, and a path along the seawall. Paths and trails lead north and east through a golf course and along Salt Creek, a scenic corridor featuring small parks and several miles of trails.
